What Should be Reported?

WLB is committed to maintaining integrity and accountability in its programs and operations. We encourage reporting of any suspected fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement involving WLB activities. This includes misconduct by WLB volunteers or contractors, as well as criminal activity related to WLB operations. The following are examples of the types of matters that can be reported to the WLB Hotline:

  • Fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement within WLB programs and operations.
  • Criminal activity involving WLB volunteers or contractors.
  • Whistleblower retaliation against current or former WLB volunteers for making protected disclosures regarding legal violations, mismanagement, waste of resources, abuse of authority, or significant risks to public health or safety.

How Does the Hotline Work?

WLB will document each report, and the General Counsel and Board of Directors will collaborate to thoroughly review every allegation, determining the need for an investigation or other appropriate action. If additional information is required, we will reach out to you. If the reported concerns fall outside WLB’s jurisdiction, we will make every effort to refer the matter to the appropriate authority.
